Karl Bergman of Seabrook Island
Mr. Bergman earned a BA in Economics from Rutgers University and attended the Harvard Business School Program for Management Development. He is a veteran, serving as an artillery officer in the Korean War.
Mr. Bergman is retired from AMAX Inc., a large natural resource company. He held various positions including those in marketing, finance and general management. Prior to retirement, he served as President of AMAX's Pacific Basin Division. He continues to consult for the mining industry both domestically and internationally.
